Use your tech to find somewhere to go.
Go to a bookshop. No, not Waterstones. Somewhere independent, where REAL book lovers and literature lovers will be. Go to a REAL comic book store. Go to a REAL film club.
I get it, people piss you off. I get it. If you NEED the internet. Go to a site called MEETUP. Get the app. There are groups of people that meet on a regular basis, all over the country. These groups are for the people, by the people. From painters to cricketers. From Victorian bottle enthusiasts to country ramblers. People into sci-fi, knitting, cars, online dating intentions lies, chat groups for women, men, lesbian, gay, writers, singers, drinkers, tarot readers, philosophers, potion makers.
Then use Tinder or Grinder whatever your thing is. But good luck with that. Tinder is for the beautiful people. For the rest of us…Humans are, like it or not, social animals. We exist within a primeval truth. There are ways in which we can begin to take part in the above. And that is just scratching the surface. It does however mean that some physical and metal effort is required.
I understand, because I feel the same apathy and distaste welling within me. But when you finally meet those who are truly like you. It will make so much sense. So, online dating intentions lies about the Websites?

All men. Out of that number, there has been ONE genuine success. Which seems to match? the statistics. Online dating is a GRAVEYARD of people in their mid 30s all the way to their late 50s. What online dating has essentially done is to, in one anthropological swoop, identified the divorced, disregarded and damaged among the internet savvy population of the developed world most of us.
Use your precious time and money to eat well, get fit, travel on your own, meet real people who EXIST in the real world. Reach out — there are like minded people.
